What is Karma?
Karma at the Hot Yoga Studio, 80 Princess Street, Kingston.
Karma relates to the sum total of one’s actions, good or bad. Some believe that karma determines all that happens to a person, whereas others attribute a larger role to destiny, divine interventions, or human effort.
By making a minimum donation of five dollars, everybody can enjoy a Bikram’s yoga class and contribute to a local charity. New students are welcome. Regular students please note that passes are not accepted for the Karma class. The money collected goes back to the community. This is our way of saying thank you to the people of Kingston for their support. Please arrive early to ensure a place, this is a popular class.
If you belong to a non-profit organization and are interested in fund raising through our Karma class, we request that the following procedure be followed:
1. Please prepare a package for us detailing your organization and how the fundraising money will be used. Pending approval, we will set up a date(s) when we will sponsor your request.
2. We will inform our students as to where the Karma donations are going. We advise that you advertise the Karma class for your organization to the public. Also drop off any promotional material for us to display at the studio. The more people who experience the Karma class the more successful it will be. Space is limited to 40 people.
3. Within 2 weeks after the Karma class, we will notify you of the amount that was collected; we require a receipt in exchange for the cheque.
NAMASTE
